Falasarna is an exotic sandy beach with crystal clear waters which extends over a very long stretch (about 3 kilometres from side to side) and is dressed with sand in the shades of white and pink. Falasarna is located about 50kms west of the city of Chania and 19kms from the city of Kissamos with easy access. Along the beach you will find beach bars with sunbeds. Also in the area are numerous taverns and restaurants.  Falasarna is not only one of the most famous and award-winning beaches in Greece, but also a very important ancient city/port, something that most of the visitors ignore. The archeological site is just a few metres from beach and is open for a visit.
